Tammuz Organization for Social Development - Free Legal Clinic in Al-anbar held the seventh educational seminar for the displaced.
The seminar was dedicated to the returnees of the displaced in Fallujah, it was held at Al Khair Hall on Tuesday 4th July 2017 and attended by (25) participants (5 men and 20 women).)

The seminar was opened by the Legal Clinic Management, and then colleague Azer Sadek Mahmoud began his lecture on how to issue a birth affidavit as well as the return procedures according to the instructions for return, , And warned of the dangers of mines in areas and homes that were under the control of gangs of ISIS.
After a full presentation on those subjects, the floor for questions was opened.
There were many legal inquiries concerning the seminar materials and other legal issues, especially compensations for the damage of terrorism and the destruction of homes and others, and the lawyer colleague explained procedures for all the questions that had been asked about them.

The seminar is one of dozens of educational seminars held by the Tammuz Organization for Social Development in Al-anbar governorate, "IDPs’ camps" to acquaint them with their legal rights and to provide legal protection to vulnerable, displaced and returning groups in need of legal assistance through the free legal clinic in Al-anbar governorate, which is implemented within the project of democracy and human rights and the rule of law to defend and protect the rights of the displaced.

In addition to two radio episodes, awareness seminars and the distribution of 1000 copies of brochures, the legal clinic, until June, has accomplished 330 legal representations, 570 legal consultations.

The project of the legal clinic of Tammuz Organization for Social Development in Al-anbar governorate is continued since 2013. It works in cooperation with donor organizations and in coordination with the local governments in Al-anbar governorate to serve displaced people and ensure their safe return to their areas and legal rights.
