Educational Seminar on Countering Extremism in Dhi Qar

Tammuz Organization for Social Development held an educational seminar in cooperation with the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Dhi Qar Governorate on how to counter violent extremism. The event took place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Ibn Rushd Secondary School.

The seminar was attended by several members of the teaching staff, students, and their families. Mr. Razaq Ubaid delivered a lecture that addressed the concept of extremism, its types, historical background, causes, and methods for countering deviant and extremist ideologies.

At the end of the event, the school administration expressed its appreciation to Tammuz Organization for its efforts in raising awareness about the dangers of extremism and promoting community resilience.
