“Inspiring Women’s Stories: Voices from Experience and Wisdom”

As part of the “Women for Democracy” project implemented by Tammuz Organization for Social Development, a dialogue session entitled “Inspiring Women’s Stories: Voices from Experience and Wisdom” was held in Najaf Governorate on Saturday, July 19, 2025, with the participation of 22 female activists.

The session aimed to empower women by highlighting inspiring female experiences and fostering the exchange of knowledge among participants, in a way that builds self-confidence and encourages new opportunities for women across various sectors. It also sought to establish a supportive community network that promotes collaboration and mutual encouragement.

The discussion covered several themes, including sharing success stories and challenges in fields such as education, administration, political participation, civil activism, and community engagement. The session also emphasized the importance of family and societal support in empowering women. The dialogue witnessed strong engagement and a rich discussion, reflecting the significance of the topic and its relevance to the participants’ realities and aspirations.
