An initiative to reduce desertification and environmental pollution in Nasiriyah

Tammuz Social Development Organization, Al-Tawasul and Al-Ikha Humanitarian Organization, Iraqi Women’s League, and Civilized Dialogue Development org, with the support of the IOM, have undertaken an initiative to combat seasonal insect carriers of viruses and their impact on the environment, as well as to mitigate climate change. This initiative included the implementation of control operations in some orchards and villages in rural areas east of Nasiriyah in collaboration with the local community.
