On Thursday, December 8, 2021 in Najaf Governorate, Tammuz Organization for Social Development held an awareness session on the occasion of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women within the Female Revolution Project.

The session was part of the activities of the International Shopping Festival, which was organized at the Najaf International Fair and witnessed the attendance of a number of activists.

During the session, posters, drawings and phrases were displayed to educate the attendees about the necessity of combating all forms of violence against women within the community and the family. The session also included other activities such as drawing, singing and distributing envelopes containing awareness messages to the attendees.

It is worth noting that the “Female Revolution” project is implemented by the Tammuz Organization in cooperation with the PAX organization in the governorates of Najaf and Dhi Qar. It is a program that aims to highlight the role of women and develop their capabilities to be able to change their stereotyped image and participate effectively in leadership and decision-making positions.
