The importance of following up on the implementation of the decision and the seriousness of state institutions in implementing and working in it were also discussed.

It is worth noting that Resolution 1325 stresses the importance of increasing the representation of women at all levels of decision-making in national, regional, and international institutions and the need to take special measures to protect women and girls from gender-based violence in conflict situations, especially rape and other forms of sexual abuse.
