Digital Security Workshop in Dhi-Qar

Tammuz Organization in cooperation with Pax Dutch Organization, held a training workshop on digital security within the project (Thawra Untha) the target group was Dhi-Qar female activists and lasted for two days 20-21 October 2021.

16 female activists of diverse specialties participated in the workshop, the first day started with a welcoming speech, introducing participants to each other   and presenting the training schedule and its objectives. After that, the trainer Mohammed Abdullah explained the importance of digital, phones and computers he also addressed the security and the privacy of accounts and interpersonal coding the day was infiltrated with practical exercises and an application for what had been explained.

As for the second day, it started with a review for the subjects of the first day and the then the trainer explained how to evaluate security risks. Physical security was also addressed in addition to training the on safety guidelines and emergency procedures, in the conclusion, the trainer assigned some practical excesses on the subject of the workshop.

It should be noted that the project of (Thawra Untha) is implemented by Tammuz Organization and The Organization of Pax. And it is a project that aims to shed light on the role of women and improving their abilities to become capable of changing their stereotype and to actively participate in leading and decision making centers.
