Online training workshop on digital security

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, The Female Revolution Team – Najaf Governorate held an online training workshop on digital security for Najaf activists through the “Google Meet” platform within the Female Revolution Project.

The workshop, which was attended by 20 female participants, was aimed at educating female activists about the dangers of electronic programs and electronic shakedown, and how to secure accounts from hacking.

It also contained an elucidation of the fundamental codes of digital security, the kinds of hackers, how to securely store passwords, and activate two-step verification. After that, data leakage and its impact on users, how to detect and examine fake links, were also discussed, besides elucidating the concept of social engineering and its methods.

These pieces of training, which are performed by Tammuz Organization in the governorates of Najaf and Dhi Qar, come within the Female Revolution Project, which encourages project female activists, after each training, to train other groups of activists to empower the most considerable number of women.
