Solidarity vigil on the occasion of the 16-day campaign

On Saturday, December 3, 2022, in Sadrin Square, The Female Revolution Team – Najaf Governorate held a solidarity vigil on the occasion of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women.

The vigil had the participation of several civil society organizations and volunteer teams, in the presence of the local media, to cover the event, which raised some demands, the most essential of which is stopping violence against women, discrimination, and inequality in all areas of life, and the adoption of laws that are fair to women, protect them and preserve their dignity.

The vigil also included an exhibition of live photos, and they also distribute brochures containing information and statistics on violence in Iraq, its causes and techniques of having it handled
