The idea of the Reading Club project is a gathering that includes a number of young people of both sexes who meet to discuss Arab and international feminist literary works and productions, besides related articles, through which they aim to expand interest in feminism and increase feminist empowerment with science and knowledge through dialogues and information exchange.

The first day of the project included discussions about a group of books and films that talk about feminism and women’s empowerment, including the book “The Female Puzzle” by Betty Friedan, after which part of the series Women in Philosophy (Plato and Women) was shown.

It is worth noting that the “Female Revolution” project is implemented by the Tammuz Organization in cooperation with the PAX organization in the governorates of Najaf and Dhi Qar.
