“The honor of the person is in his/her integrity” Is the entitled dialog session of Tammuz organization in Anbar

Participated in the dialog session in Anbar governorate to discuss and promote for the United Nations strategic agreement to curb corruption. The session took place in Fallujah district on Monday April 11 2011 in cooperation with the Committee of Integrity and the Network of civil society Organizations.

Some representatives from various spectra of the Iraqi society attended the session. The session was dedicated to explain the items of the agreement and identify its goals. Some experts in the session discussed the agreement policy in protecting citizens and presenting best services for the society in addition to providing prosperity and comfort for them. The attendants also talked about the phenomena of corruption, vulnerability of ruling systems in planning, and lack of technology in communication and administration. Other vital aspect the session attendants discussed is the exploitation of resources according to the principles of efficiency and efficacy. 

They attendants confirmed on the necessity to restrain corruption especially in the accountability domain.

In the end of the workshop, some certificates of attendance were handed to the participants. Tammuz organization has been holding workshops to promote for the UN agreement for restraining corruption within the coalition of Integrity in Baghdad, Thi-Qar and Babil.
