Tolerance is a step towards building a human society

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Dhi Qar. Tammuz Organization for Social Development held an educational symposium entitled “Tolerance is a step towards building a human society” for the staff of the Specialized Dental Center.

The symposium dealt with social violence and its negative effects on society, where violence was explained and its types were clarified, as well as the difference between individual violence and collective violence and the consequences and negative effects of violence.

In the end, the discussion took place among the attendees on the topics raised, and several recommendations were made, including:

– The need to find new legislation that curbs the phenomenon of violence.

Continuous education for civil society organizations and literary and cultural forums through workshops on this aspect.

The necessity of adopting a role for the media to help through television and radio programs and highlighting the concept of tolerance as a title instead of violence and benefiting from representative texts on this subject.

Strictly enforce the laws and not tolerate those who engage in violence of all kinds.

The necessity of paying attention to family education and emphasizing the role of fathers and mothers, since the beginning of correct upbringing and behavior begins at home.
