Visit by Representatives of AL Jabayish Villages

Within Ta’afi program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Tammuz Social Development Organization held meetings for representatives from the villages of Hassajah, Al-Bahr, Abu Subat, Al-Mawajid, and Abu Joulaneh in the Jabayish district of Thi Qar province. The meetings were attended by the Jabayish district administrator, local government representatives, and a representative from the Water Directorate in the province.

 The meeting took place at the Jabayish district headquarters on February 4, 2024.

During the meeting, discussions revolved around the operational mechanisms of the watershed vehicles that have been acquired and are operating in these villages. The aim is to mitigate the impact of drought in these areas and to find effective ways to provide regular water access to the residents through these vehicles.
