Educational Seminar on Hate Speech and Extremism

Tammuz Organization for Social Development held an educational seminar on hate speech and extremism in cooperation with the Subcommittee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism in Thi Qar Governorate, and in coordination with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Women, Shatra University, on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. The event was attended by the Dean of the College as well as a large number of faculty members and students.

The discussion during the seminar covered the root causes of violence and extremism, the negative and alien influences on society and their serious repercussions, and strategies for empowering university students and educational institutions to confront these phenomena and foster a culture of tolerance.
