Distribution of Electoral Awareness Brochures in Dhi Qar and Najaf
As part of the “Women for Democracy” project implemented by Tammuz Organization for Social Development, field teams in the governorates of Dhi Qar and Najaf carried out an awareness campaign between 11–15 September 2025, which included distributing brochures to citizens in public spaces.
The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of participating in the elections and to inform citizens about the principles of the electoral process and their role as active voters in supporting the democratic path. The brochures focused on the significance of voting, understanding electoral procedures, and encouraging responsible and informed participation.
This activity is part of a series of events carried out by the project teams in both governorates to enhance political and democratic awareness, particularly in light of the ongoing preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
