Bazaar for crafts and handicrafts, the first of its kind in the marshes of Chabayish

On Friday, December 6, 2024, the project team of “women for Democracy”, which implemented by Tammuz Organization for Social Development in cooperation with the Arab Marsh team held a bazaar bazaar for crafts and handicrafts in Dhi Qar Governorate – Al-Chabayish Marshes

The aim of the bazaar was to support women economically and encourage them to continue with the crafts and handicrafts in which the women of the Chabayish Marshes are famous, as the first bazaar of its kind in the Chabayish Marshes witnessed a large turnout of people.

It is worth mentioning that this activity is part of the activities of the “Women and Climate is a Duty” campaign implemented by the project teams of “women for Democracy” in Najaf and Dhi Qar.
