Tammuz Organization Conducts Storytelling Sessions for Returnees from Irregular Migration in Baghdad

Tammuz Organization for Social Development conducted five storytelling sessions for returnees from irregular migration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, within the project Raising Awareness of the Risks of Irregular Migration in Iraq (RADIM), funded by UK International Development, and implemented in partnership with CIVIPOL, during the period 20–31 January 2026 in Baghdad.

The sessions were attended by a number of citizens and community leaders from various areas of the governorate. They aimed to highlight the stories and experiences of returnees from irregular migration and convey them to the local community, with the objective of raising awareness of the risks associated with this phenomenon and shedding light on the challenges and difficulties faced by migrants during their journeys.
