Tammuz visits Dhi Qar Elections for latest Developments
On May 5, 2021, Tammuz Organization for Social Development – Dhi Qar office visited the Dhi Qar Election Commission to find out the latest developments in the electoral process to be held on next 10th October.
The visit included a meeting between representatives of Tammuz Organization for Social Development and Mr. Qassem Zuri, in charge of the Office of the Commission, besides Mr. Raed Aziz, Head of the Information Division.
Our colleague Razak Obaid Daher, in charge of the organization’s office in Dhi _Qar, also discussed with the Director of the Commission, the foundations of cooperation between the two parties and stressed the need to establish joint activities related to electoral education in order to raise electoral awareness.
Our colleague Razzaq presented to the members of the Commission several proposals, the most important of which is the establishment of joint seminars in universities and government institutions, besides holding seminars in rural areas about the electoral process.
The visit concluded by thanking the organization and its office in Dhi- Qar for their continuous cooperation with the Commission
