Tolerance is a step towards building a human society

On Sunday, February 13, 2022, In the presence of the Faculty of Physical Education – University of Dhi Qar, Tammuz Organization for Social Development held a panel discussion entitled “Tolerance”, a step towards building a human society.

The symposium was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mr. Adel Odeh Al-Ghazi, and a group of students and professors, during which the dialogue took place on the concept of societal violence and its types, as this dialogue was reinforced with examples from the current reality.

  After that, the symposium dealt with the most prominent manifestations of societal violence and clarification of the most important effects resulting from this violence, and the door was opened for discussion and interventions and questions were asked by the audience about what was mentioned during the symposium.

In conclusion, the symposium came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need for the family to contribute and to take the correct upbringing of children, in addition to the media and civil society organizations’ contribution to raising awareness.
