A dialogue session on engaging men in women-supportive issues

The project team of “women for Democracy”, which implemented by Tammuz Organization for Social Development, held a dialogue session aimed at involving men in women-supportive issues. The session took place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Najaf provinc.

A group of activists in human and women’s rights attended the session, where discussions emphasized the importance of involving men in women’s issues, particularly concerning violence and marginalization. The session also included a screening of the film *Men in the Shadows*, which tells the stories of men who have contributed to and supported women’s issues in various fields. Attendees then discussed the film’s content.Several male participants also shared personal stories about how they have supported women in their communities.
