Tammuz Organization Conducts Storytelling Sessions for Returnees from Irregular Migration in Al-Muthanna

Tammuz Organization for Social Development conducted five storytelling sessions for returnees from irregular migration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, within the framework of the Raising Awareness of the Risks of Irregular Migration in Iraq (RADIM) project, funded by UK International Development and implemented in partnership with Seefar, during the period from 21 January to 5 February 2026 in Al-Muthanna Governorate.

The sessions were attended by a number of local citizens and community leaders from various areas of the governorate. They aimed to highlight the stories and experiences of returnees from irregular migration and convey them to the local community, with the objective of raising awareness of the risks associated with this phenomenon and introducing the challenges and hardships migrants faced during their journeys.
