Twenty-four young men and women from various Iraqi provinces attended the training, which was led by trainer Montadhar Hassan. The trainer also divided the participants into working groups to work on the topics discussed.
On the second day, strategies for influence methods were explained, along with how to identify approaches and activities for community engagement and exploring capabilities and resources. The trainer also discussed the theory of change and asked the working groups to link the goals they had set with the theory of change. Afterward, the working groups conducted risk assessments for their initiatives.
On the third day, the participants met with members of the Sasa Organization for Youth Political Participation and members of the Wish Humanitarian Organization at Al-Mutanabbi Street, where the goal was for the young leaders to learn about successful experiences in civil society and the challenges they faced along their journey. It is worth mentioning that the project writing and management workshop is the last workshop for the fifth generation.
