“From Training to Impact”: Tammuz Holds the Graduation Ceremony for the Sixth Generation of the Youth Leaders Program
Tammuz Organization for Social Development, in partnership with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), held the graduation ceremony for the sixth generation of the Youth Leaders Program on Saturday, 19 September 2026, in Baghdad.
The ceremony was attended by 46 young men and women from the sixth and seventh generations and included several activities. It began with the “Initiatives Exhibition,” where the volunteer initiatives implemented by sixth-generation participants in their respective governorates after completing the training program were presented. Participants discussed and explained their initiatives to the seventh-generation participants and shared the challenges they faced during their implementation.
The participants from the two generations were also divided into five working groups and asked by the trainer to develop a realistic community initiative that could be implemented in their respective governorates. Following the presentation of the working groups’ outcomes, the sixth-generation participants were honored, and graduation certificates were distributed. Tammuz staff expressed their appreciation for their efforts and outstanding contribution in implementing this number of volunteer initiatives, while encouraging them to continue their community engagement and service to the public interest.
